ROBYN CUMMING /

Robyn Cumming is a photo based artist working in Toronto, Ontario. She holds a master’s degree from York University and currently teaches at Ryerson University and the Ontario College of Art and Design. Her work has been widely exhibited within Canada, most recently during the Power Plant’s exhibition:  Adaption: Between Species as well as in the United States and abroad, she is the recipient of numerous awards and grants and has had her work selected for publications produced by the Magenta Foundation, the Humble Arts Foundation and various contemporary art magazines and catalogues.  Cumming’s artwork and practice has equally been the subject of television episodes presented by Bravo! , Sex TV and Magenta Television. Her work has been reviewed by the National Post, the Globe and Mail, CBC Radio, CBC News, Now Magazine and Mass Art Guide among others. Robyn Cummming's work is found in public collections such as the MacDonald Stewart Art Center, York University and the Kiyosato Museum of Photographic Arts in Japan. Robyn Cumming is proudly represented by Galerie PUSH where her latest exhibition: Dislocated, is on view from September 16 until October 16 2010.
