stacy lundeen /
Stacy Lundeen’s large photographs present the typical, illuminated by dramatic and often garish lighting, focusing on the possibility for inanimate objects to convey meaning and generate powerful emotional responses. Through his photographic
studio practice Stacy Lundeen imbues household items and knick knacks with a heightened sense of significance, offering them an identity outside of the everyday or consumerist context. These objects become Lundeen’s models, while the work
becomes a type of portraiture. Stacy Lundeen holds a degree in English literature from Red Deer College, Alberta and a bachelor of fine arts degree in photography from Concordia University. His work has been exhibited throughout Montreal.
